Project entailed rebuilding a collapsed culvert to ensure roadway stability prior to stormy winter weather. Install a bypass pumping system, relocation of a joint utility pole, removal of a 60' section of 4" gas line and removal and replacement of a 54" concrete storm drain pipe. The project was brought in three days ahead of schedule. "The staff would like to recognize the extra effort and coordination of George Santos of Santos Excavating, Inc. and of PG&E in bringing this very difficult project to a timely completion. Two days following completion, the Town experienced heavy rainfall which would have had catastrophic consequences had the project not been complete." Dennis J.
